This isn’t really leaky or spoilers, but I just put it under those tags to be save. This is really more theory than anything.
Tenzin seems so serious, which make since because he has the whole future of a nation on his back, but still, I wish he was slightly more easy going. I kind of wonder if it put a bit of a strain on Aang’s and his relationship. Not horribly so, but Aang was so happy-go-lucky and free, and Tenzin is so this-is-how-things-are.
I guess I kind want some sort of conflict between them, something he sort of regrets he never cleared up with his father. Not anything major, of course. But I guess I can see Aang really pushing Tenzin to let go and have fun, and Tenzin just sort of being like “no.” It’s almost in a way like how I picture Lin and Toph being opposites because Toph is so out of control.
I really hope Korra makes him more able to cut loose and do something really daring because it’s fun. Like one day Pema walks out and Tenzin’s hanging upside down from a tree for no reason what so ever. I don’t know, but I still want a prank war between Lin and him.

Day 27: Episodes that makes you laugh
Bitter Work by far I think makes me laugh the most. I blame Sokka mostly…and Foo-Foo-Cuddlypoops being adorable together. That and Iroh’s random funny comments. Toph was great too. I love her, and the episode moved along nicely.

Day 22: Favorite Dialogue
Aang: Looking for me?
Zuko: You’re the airbender? You’re the Avatar?
Katara: Aang?
Sokka: No way.
Zuko: I’ve spent years preparing for this encounter. Training. Meditating. You’re just a child!
Aang: Well, you’re just a teenager.
By far one of the best bits of dialogue in the whole show. It is so Aang’s character to point out something obvious about someone else after something else has been pointed out about him. Zuko’s just frustrated and Aang’s comments just frustrate him more, which is the best. I think this is the one think I remember most from season one as well as “Right, and this is Katara, my flying sister.”
