Day 25: Favorite Friendship

Zutara is my favorite friendship.  I don’t mind people who ship them romantically, but I like them more as friends, and for a lot of reasons.  Zuko really hurt Katara by betraying her trust, and yes she was overly harsh to them, but she wasn’t willing to set herself up again if he betrayed them.  Katara was the first person, because Zuko’s uncle, to see that he was all that bad, he just come from a really messed up family.  However, Zuko really wanted her trust back, not because it would be easier for the group, but I think he really wanted her to be his friend.  I hope they are the best of friends and bicker like friends do.  Zuko, I think, can be socially awkward, and I think Katara would tease him endlessly about it but be willing to help him out.  I think they would have a lot of inside jokes, and I think their kids would be great friends.
